I have been using the phone for a couple weeks and the main thing that makes the phone good is it's sliding keyboard. The navigation is questionable, always having to put in a few extra inputs than you think you need to. It says it doesn't have wayz or email capabilities but it does, it's just really hard to navigate. Gmail being difficult to navigate but usable, and wayz opening and showing your location but not being able to do anything else.
The phone's build quality overall isn't ideal. The camera being 5 megapixels is not horrible but it's not exactly that good either. The back of the screen under the slider has a weird texture that doesn't look very sleek and makes you look a little silly using it when you're texting. The battery is okay. It will get you through the day if you keep it charged before you head out. It drains really quickly if you're listening to music only lasting about 12 hours.
Overall this phone will function as a dumb phone but it has a lot of quirks to get used to for such a high price.
This phone is a one of a kind device. a perfect solution for those who need to text and check their email, but don't want to have internet or distractions on their device. I am super adhd and easily distracted so this phone has been a life saver. Thank G-d for this phone, and thank you to all those who were part of making this one of a kind phone a reality! Thank you thank you thank you.
I needed help from service to stay connected, but can say after months of use I haven't had any serious issues, and I love this phone. I get about 2-3 days of battery. I use TMobile pre-paid without issues. for a "basic" phone, it has a great keyboard I wish other phones had
After getting help with the phone it has steady service and has yet to restart again from closing too hard. Phones work well enough to use as my daily cellphone. Would give it five stars if it was more durable and little bit smaller.
I'm pretty excited to see a classic messaging phone in 4G. But it would be good to clarify that although it probably "works on all carriers" as the description says, it's not officially approved by either of the US carriers that has a device approval process. The IMEI checkers at both Verizon and AT&T say it won't work, which leaves T-Mobile as the only fully-compatible carrier in the US.
